2026 Day on the Hill

The WVSCA Day on the Hill is an annual advocacy event that provides an opportunity for school counselors from across West Virginia to meet with legislators, share the impact of comprehensive school counseling programs, and advocate for policies that support students and the profession. Whether you are new to advocacy or a seasoned advocate, your voice and experience are valuable.

As we prepare for this event, we are also gathering member feedback on current West Virginia school counseling laws and policies. Your input will help shape our legislative priorities and ensure that our discussions with lawmakers reflect the realities school counselors face in schools every day.
